Watching YouTube videos on older Macs, especially G3 models, can be an exercise in frustration. Low End Mac's readers share their suggestions for better YouTube viewing on these older Macs.

Dan, Here's a great combo solution using MacTubes and vlc.
Use MacTubes (free) to search for videos. Right click/Control click your selection,--> copy url, then paste into vlc (Command-N, paste into HTTP field).
Also vlc plug-ins seems to work decently with Firefox.
