Re: How to Grow Info-Mac

just continual posting/tweeting will get you followers. the key is to use the # symbol before certain words so people looking for those topics can search. for instance, earlier i tweeted "Go to info-mac.org. a #phpBB forum for all things #mac" and it got me 2 new followers for people looki...

Re: Post your Uniquely Special Photos

Jay, what camera do you use? On the rare occasion I even shoot film I have a Canon Elan 7NE, but in digital I have 2 bodies. Canon Rebel XT and a Canon EOS 5D. But beyond that I choose my lenses carefully. Canon 28-105 f/4-5.6, Canon 50mm f/1.8, Sigma 50mm macro f/2.8, Sigma 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 and my...

People have mixed feelings about it but you can't deny the ability to touch a ton of people with Twitter. I can help with that if interested.

Re: MBP 17" - Too much?

if you want the portability, get the 15" with expose and spaces you don't need the extra space, imo. i run 8 spaces and that gives me just enough space. i was at 4, then 6 and now 8 but i use it all pretty well. and with the quality of the screen i don't even notice the size since the resolutio...

I didn't get it and never really looked into details. What if there's no apple store within several hours of you?

Re: Post your Uniquely Special Photos

Some great shots in this bunch. Looks like we've got some decent photogs in the bunch here. I wouldn't know where to begin posting my shots. As a photographer, I shoot thousands of pics a year. I'll see if I can pick a few faves soon though.

Wireless Mighty Mouse

I absolutely HATE this mouse. I bought my macbook pro, time capsule and wireless mighty mouse all at once. Of all the purchases, I regret the mouse. It hangs suddenly for no reason and then picks up again. The battery life is terrible since I go through a pair of AAs in about 2 months. Most importan...

Time Capsule

Love to see this section here. Anyone else using a Time Capsule? Post your thoughts about it here. I have mixed thoughts on it. In some ways, I love it. In others, it's not the best solution. So... what does everyone think?

I'm with you lessthanthree. Delicious library is fantastic. So is eventbox. I can't even think of all the software I've gotten at this point but it's been great. I can't wait for MH4 which won't be for a while. This is a great concept.

Re: Best Windows on Mac Options

If you decide to use BootCamp, do you back everything up first? How many people have created a bootcamp partition with all their data sitting on OS X without protection?

Hello all

Hi everyone. Just joined up here. I'm a relatively new mac user but my equipment grew quickly. G4, macbook pro, time capsule, iphone, ipod with hopefully more on the way soon.

Well, time to look around. See you all in the threads.
