Re: iWork 09, AppleWorks & MathType: Advice requested
It's nice to know that iWork can open AppleWorks files. I was never quite sure whether or not it could. Now we all know.

Re: new mail folders on itouch
If your AT&T email account uses POP like mine, any folders you create in Entourage will be only on that computer. Can you elaborate on how you synced your folders from Entourage to some other computer?
IMAP folders should automatically appear on your iPod Touch.

Re: Hi Newbie Here :O)
There are already plenty of ebooks and web sites about Mac basics. How about some about advanced topics, like command line stuff, maintenance, programming... stuff like that.

Re: Mac G3 has no OS!!!
Sometimes the restore CDs that come with a particular Mac contain extra software, like for example iBook G3 restore CDs come with AppleWorks 6, FaxSTF, and some games. It's a hit or miss though, on whether a restore CD for some other Mac will work. I find the best chances are with Macs of the same o...

Re: tornado
There were again severe tornados in the middle of the country. If I heard correctly, there was a massive F5 in Iowa that destroyed essentially an entire town.

Re: Searching for Italian Language Software
You may want to look into a more modern and current language program for Mac OS X. Especially take a look at the Rosetta Stone: Italian series of language software.

Printing Slides in Keynote
I am not satisfied with the built in slide printing capabilities of Keynote. In PowerPoint, I can easily set the printer options to print 6 slides on a page, taking up most of the page and leaving just a bit of white space on the paper. But I cannot seem to replicate this effect in Keynote, and fear...

Stacks in Leopard
I've recently upgrade to Leopard and I cannot figure out how to configure Stacks to my liking. In Tiger, I had an alias to my Documents, Applications, and a few others in my Dock next to my Trash Bin. When I'd right-click on them, they would show me all the contents in a nice, scrollable menu. I can...

Re: iMac weird password stuff
Thank you that seems to have done the trick. It seems I've lost all my passwords in Safari.
How would something like that happen?

Best Windows on Mac Options
If I wanted to run a few Windows-only programs, which route should I go? Which is easiest to set up, and equally important, easiest to remove if I don't want it anymore.

iMac weird password stuff
I'll go out on the limb and make the first real post on Info Mac! I have fond memories of using the old Info Mac and just had to sign up for the new one right away. I recently bought an aluminum iMac and every time I launch Safari it asks me for my username and password. It isn't accepting it though...
