I highly recommend Netflix. No, its not free, but for $9 a month you can watch TV series, Movies, etc. on your iPad or iPhone.

You can play with random people. It doesn't have to be people you know. Ha! Don't be afraid of the addiction. Just embrace it. LOL

Word with Friends, etc.... It entertains me when I'm waiting for anything and/or anyone.

Prior to the upgrade, the switch used to control the Orientation. Now, it mutes the iPad. The Orientation is now controlled by double clicking the home button like the iPhone and choosing to lock or unlock.

Agree with svelte... You must have been jailbroken.

Nope. No way to lock individual apps. Only the phone itself.

Aaaww I remember having that one. Welcome to the Mac World. Listen to Turbo, they know their stuff.  Good luck and enjoy your new "keys" to the world. 

Trust me, after a few hours of discovering your new Mac, you won't remember what a PC is. LOL! Actually, in all honesty, you're going to wonder why you didn't do it sooner. 
