Have you disabled Spaces as described here: http://blog.nasolab.com/?p=70 ?

Re: Displaying video over only two screens
Unfortunately there isn't a way to disable the MacBook internal video, but that's a good idea for a future update that I hadn't thought about.

Re: How to Correct Choppy or Broken Up Playback
What you are experiencing is most likely a codec issue. ArraySync’s precise frame-accurate synchronization won’t work with a high-compression distribution codec such as H.264. Instead you’ll want to use a production codec, which will result in larger files but much smoother playback and sync. Most p...

Re: Mac LC 'I Feel Good..." start-up
Does this happen at system startup? Or are you saying this custom sound has replaced the Mac's hardware startup chime?
I vaguely recall some system extension that would play a sound as system extensions were loaded.

Re: Forgot my password
Forgot your account password on your Mac? Try this: Apple includes a tool with macOS or Mac OS X (depending on which version you are using) to replace a Mac's password. This is the best option if you have completely forgotten your password. Follow these steps: Turn off your Mac (choose Apple > Shut ...

Re: How to Open .b6z Files on Mac
Never heard of it. Did some research, seems very obscure and the only references I can find also refer to a compression utility called B6Zip that looks and sounds very sketchy. Sounds like potential malware of some sort if you ask me. I would avoid it if possible. Did you download or receive .b6z fi...

Re: About the Game Folder
It might have been something that had been deleted sometime between 1998-2002. The Info-Mac Archive available today are basically frozen in time from 2002. There are files that existed previously which were deleted before this time as requested by developers. I apologize it isn't here, but good luck...

Re: Using cover flow for a movie library.
What you're really describing in the first part is setting a custom icon for the file in question, not necessarily a poster image. When you drag from your browser you're dragging over copied pixels of a photo, which does not have an icon set because it's not a saved file. But when you drag from a fi...

Re: DISABLE previews from iCloud downloads?
Are you downloading from the iCloud website? If you're using Safari you might want to disable the "Open safe files after downloading" setting (see screenshot). It sounds like this might be what is causing each file to open? Alternatively simply connect your Mac to your iCloud account in System Prefe...

If you have a Time Machine backup they should be accessible. Have you tried following these instructions?

Yes the DAC only becomes a factor when the final analog conversion happens, which in your case would be the end of the process.

Re: Airplay and hi-fi
Sounds like this is not suitable for Tidal's hi-res stream, if that's what you were hoping for: The hi-res audio streams will typically be 96 kHz/24 bit, according to Tidal, as opposed to the 44.1 kHz/16 bit CD-quality streams on the hi-fi tier. This can be activated by going into the 'Settings" men...

Re: Airplay and hi-fi
My friend believes AirPlay has quality issues non matter what, and is best avoided. As to your specific question, I was able to find this similar-sounding topic , but using a Marantz receiver rather than your Need device: AirPlay is a proprietary protocol that uses the Apple Lossless codec (at up to...

Re: Clearing Files
These all seem to be file types rather than specific files. I wouldn't recommended deleting whole categories of files all at once. What are you trying to accomplish here? If you're startup disk is running full I'd recommend getting an external drive and backing up personal photos, music and document...
