Re: Crossover network Mac & PC

There does not need to be an active Internet connection for this version of ArraySync however future versions will require an occasional connection to stay activated (we're completely changing the serial activation system).

Re: Crossover network Mac & PC

This type of setup typically does not work. You'll need to have both machines on the same network behind a router serving DHCP and UDP.

Re: 13" White Macbook For sale

FYI the view count on the board is mostly crawlers and bots, not real live people. Info-Mac is very old and there's tens of thousands of websites linking to us over the past 20-30 years, so this is a side effect of that.

Re: Video Installation

Hello,
Yes ArraySync is designed to do exactly what you describe, and yes there is a demo version available! Visit the ArraySync homepage to find the 10-day trial download (this is not possible with Mac App Store version).

Ah this brings back memories. I used iMovie 2 for years on my indigo blue iBook G3 before graduating to Final Cut and Premiere!

Re: What to do with LC III?

The latest OS those can run is Mac OS 7.6.1. There is no way to read SD cards directly with one of those that I'm aware of. This might be a very tricky problem to solve unfortunately. Your best bet I imagine would be either to connect the LC III to the internet (if it has internal ethernet installed...

Re: advice for splitting a movie vertically

Hey Rifo, Thanks for checking back in. Glad to hear it works! Send us a pic or video of the final setup! Neither versions support playlists for one very important reason. The closing of one video file and opening of another introduces a pause that kicks the playback out of sync. We recommend stitchi...

Re: Switching from iPhone 6 to iPhone 7

Ah yes. To be honesty everyone I know that has tried the Plus size was tepid at first, but has now grown to love them and wouldn't go back. So I guess that's saying something? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I myself still have a regular provided by my work, but have thought about going Plus one day since I don't own an ...

Re: advice for splitting a movie vertically

I've gone ahead and downloaded one of the Star Wars 1080p trailers and split it in Adobe Premiere. I then used ffmpeg to convert the videos to MJPEG codec which you should find performs better (but makes larger files). You can download the two clips here . Let me know if this is what you had in mind...

Re: advice for splitting a movie vertically

This is doable with ffmpeg which is free but requires some command line knowledge, or you can create a project with a custom size in Adobe Premiere, export one half of your video and then the other half and you'd end up with the two files you'd need. If you'd like to upload the video somewhere that ...

Private Message Spam

We take spam very seriously here. It was just brought to my attention that spammers were circumventing our anti-spam measures by directly private messaging Info-Mac users messages full of spam, rather than attempting to post their spam in the public forum (which new users cannot do without moderatio...
