Re: File won't screen across two monitors

Have you checked that you disabled spaces? Have you verified that your screens are arranged properly (one on top of the other) in System Preferences?

Re: how to open UDP and TCP ports 9201? Problem client-server

Well we can go through some steps for troubleshooting. Firstly, the server must be playing video for it to "broadcast" a signal to clients. Can you verify that you start the server first before attempting to connect? Secondly, there cannot be two active networks on either of the Macs. ArraySync uses...

Re: how to open UDP and TCP ports 9201? Problem client-server

If you have the two Macs directly connected to each other with an ethernet cable, this is the cause of the problem. They must both be connected to a router.

Can you attach a screenshot of your ArraySync window please? Are both screens attached to one computer and recognized as two separate screens by ArraySync?

Re: Windows7 issues on an iMac 27" late 2012.

What 3D application is this out of curiosity? I know Windows 10 had a lot of problems at first, but it's been almost a year now and a lot of bugs and incompatibilities are worked out. Is Windows 10 not a free update in your area? You could always try it out and then switch back.

Re: Windows7 issues on an iMac 27" late 2012.

Is it possible that these problems could be solved with Windows 10? Windows 10 would contain a lot of native drivers for the hardware in a 2012 iMac that Windows 7 would not. Have you considered this possibility? For example USB 3 is specifically listed as a supported feature here: https://support.a...

Re: Troubleshooting stuttering video

Thank you for clarifying this for me. This now sounds like a codec issue. I have a hunch you might be using a delivery codec such as H.264. Try exporting a video to Apple Intermediate Codec (a production codec) and you should see better results. This will result in huge file sizes but much easier vi...

Re: Troubleshooting stuttering video

If your videos start playing for a few second and then start over, it might a router issue. Please make sure both UDP and TCP ports 9201 are open and not blocked by any sort of firewall. Sounds like the clients are making the initial connection to the server but not maintaining sync. Also another pr...

Re: Desktop Bug

Are you saving the photo file somewhere on your computer then setting it in System Preferences? Or are you right clicking on it in Safari and clicking “Use Image s Desktop Picture"? I find the latter sometimes doesn’t stay.

Re: synching 2 quicktimes

Yes, ArraySync is made just for this. Set ArraySync to Standard mode and drop each video file onto the particular display you want do see it on, then start the server.

If you haven’t done so already you need to disable spaces.

Re: Safari problem

10.7 is pretty outdated so you’re going to have problems visiting websites. Software Update will always give you the latest version of Safari compatible with your system, so you should never go and download it from somewhere else. If you somehow managed to install a newer version of Safari than is c...

Re: Autostart with power up/down of arraysync installation

I’m not sure what a double-HD file panned means. Your computer sees both displays as one large display? If so they will only show up in ArraySync as just one display.

Hi there I was wandering if there is a way to remotely play the video files on arraysync. I am using the program for a performance on an exhibition setting. I need the videos to stop on an image (pause) and need to be able to play them from an external device. (for example spacebar on my keyboard)....

Re: Connect 4 screens with overlay

You can physically arrange the displays any way you like however the computers won’t be able to drive one big video stretched across them like that. Instead you’ll have to calculate the measurements yourself and make a video specific to each screen in Adobe Premiere or whatever program you prefer. I...
