R.A.D. Productions releases FinderEye.
15 January 2002 - R.A.D. Productions today released its new product
FinderEye. FinderEye is a MacOS X Contextual Menu Plugin. It adds to the
Finder's system wide contextual menu a number of must have commands. These
commands put at your fingertips the ability to
€ copy the path of the current file or folder to the clipboard
€ open the currently selected folder in a new window
€ lock and unlock the current file
€ open the current file or folder with another application
€ change the creator and type of a file to that of a template file.
And these are just those commands available in version 1.0. New
functionality will be added with each new revision of the application.
FinderEye is shareware. Using the built-in registration program you can pay
the low $14.95 shareware fee and support the continued development of
FinderEye and be eligible for free upgrades in the future. Since FinderEye
also comes with a built in means to install upgrades, you won't even have to
watch a web site to know when new versions are available.
FinderEye is available for immediate download from the R.A.D. Productions
web site at http://www.radproductions.NET/. You can also get it through
standard Mac file archives, including the InfoMac archives, Download.com,
and Version Tracker.
