Time Teacher v1.1.4 was written in 1990 to help my sons (Dan and
Kevin) learn how to tell time. It displays a simple clock face
with a random time and the child has to click in one of four
buttons that show the time in decimal format. Clicking on the
correct time makes a happy sound and shows a smiley clock face.
Clicking on the incorrect time makes a sad sound, shows a sad clock
and gives the kid another chance. Time Teacher will run on anything
from a 512K to a PowerPC (I think). It has primitive graphics and
sounds (to say the least) and is in black and white.

Wow! How about that! you folks brought back the complete info-mac archive, including my first Mac application, TimeTeacher. Kudos on a great start, and thanks for bringing back what was a wonderful resource - and hopefully will become one once again.

For anyone that has an interest in using TimeTeacher, it was never upgraded beyond the ancient release included here. If it works for you, please feel free to use it without sending in the old shareware fee. And boy, THIS time I really hope to port it to a modern world.... maybe by spring '08.

It's way cool that all this code is back online !

Hey thanks for releasing the app with no fee, there's still a lot of folks out there using older macs for teaching and home schooling.

It's nice to see a developer come back and find some of his software and comment about it in this new interactive Archive.

Out of curiosity, how interested would a developer such as yourself be in having the ability to submit new files to the Info-Mac Archive?

Well, I don't do much Mac development anymore, but in general I think that reviving Info-Mac to once again become the well known and respected repository for freeware and shareware that it once was would be a wonderful thing, in addition to just reviving the archive.

With so many both useful and useless web sites out there, the signal to noise ratio can easily get overwhelming. The name recognition and trust that comes with the Info-Mac name and heritage is important. Just do the right thing!
