TheZone is a shareware arcade game for the MacOS.
Enjoy the finest space driving possibility you have ever had in
inertial arcades. Admire the best 3D rendered sprites on this platform.
Experience the mad collision system that makes our game something
like a crazy space pool. Blast out the heaviest mother bases you
could dream of. Destroy the toughest enemies in evil space.
Survive the higher levels fighting maniacal hordes of nasties.
System requirements: a 020 Mac (030/040 at 25MHz *recommended*) or
a PowerMac; System 7.1; Sound Manager 3.0; a 13" or bigger monitor;
a 2.8MB to 3+MB free RAM partition; 2.5MB free disk space.
The program runs native on *both* 68K and PPC Macs.
Permission is granted to the InfoMac staff to include this program
on their CDROM. Any other shareware publisher should contact us to
get our approval.

Version 1.5.1 features:
* compiled with CodeWarrior Pro 4
* the "Zap Scores" option now works correctly: the Hall Of Fame is reset
to zero
* sound volume settings are correctly saved together with the user's
preferences
* the ESC key aborts the current game
* fixed bug with collision effects, where the shields effect would collapse
into a circle
