BTV Pro Carbon is a version of BTV Pro for Mac OS X. You can also use it
under Mac OS 8.1 or later with CarbonLib installed.

Description

BTV Pro is an application for the Macintosh that allows you to view,
capture and edit video, create stop-motion animations, and also has
advanced capture features such as frame averaging, time lapse and motion
detection. It works with any Macintosh compatible video input source such
as video input cards, TV cards, built-in video, USB, DV, and FireWire
video sources. Note that OSX native driver software is needed for your
device to use it under OSX.

- Floating Frame Position window that shows time code and frame count
- Export movies with custom compression and frame rate settings, and
filters
- AppleScript support
- Folder Viewer feature to view all the image files in a folder
- Includes the macgix LiveCam AppleScript to turn BTV Pro into a Webcam
application

Minimum System requirements

PowerMac with video input hardware running Mac OS X, or Mac OS 8.1 or
higher with CarbonLib installed. QuickTime 5 required for DV device
control.

Terms and conditions

BTV Pro is Shareware, which means that you can try it out completely free
of charge before you buy. You are entitled to try it out for a trial
period of 15 days, after which time you must register if you wish to
continue to use the software. Before registration all features are
available however a reminder message will pop up every 8 minutes. BTV Pro
costs just US$40.
