Info-Mac

Well I'm penguin and im pretty new to this... Not my first forum but I'm still getting used to this. A friend of mine told me about this via a openfeint (a gaming forum type thing). Anyways apparently this place is dead but still hopefully it will be revived bya new generation of people from Openfeint.

Welcome to Info-Mac! I see you guys are using the iForum app. If iForum use rises I'll probably pay more attention to improving and updating it than I do now. I've been meaning to add and change a few things, just haven't gotten around to it in awhile. Lately I've spent more time on the Info-Mac website itself, and other projects not related to Info-Mac.

Do you guys use Macs as well or just iOS devices?

Why not jump start some activity by responding to some of the unanswered posts in the iPhone, iPad and iPod folder? I'm more of a Mac guy myself so I'm not always able to answer all the topics that pop up in there.

iForum is an iOS-friendly way of browsing Info-Mac. You can learn about what Info-Mac is on Wikipedia.

When you're using iForum, if you click the house icon at the bottom of the app, you'll see sortof a shortcut area to useful sections of Info-Mac. The Community Timeline is a feed of the latest posts from regular Info-Mac members about a wide variety of Mac and iPhone topics. The News Timeline is an aggregate of news articles collected from around the web every weekday. The iPhone, iPad and iPod Topics icon takes you to the folder pertaining to iOS devices, which would be particularly useful to someone using iForum (the rest of Info-Mac is largely dedicated to Macintosh, not iOS). You can browse all the other folders by going to the Folder Index. Some Info-Mac topics go all the way back to 1984, so it may be easy to get a little lost or overwhelmed especially when searching for broad or vague keywords.
