Holy cow, that's terrifying!

Closest we've ever come to that here in Colorado was a tornado that blew past about ten miles out. All that one did was tear off some shingles on the houses about five subdivisions east of us.

I can't imagine driving into it, though.

Last one in Green Bay WI was in 1959... didn't they say on the news that that town was being bought by the govt anyway since it's so polluted or something?

Picher is a super fund site.

many of the homes were their in picher but the people were bought out and had left.

it would of been worse had the buy outs not started some years ago

a lot of people did not want to leave. now they have no choice. the government will not allow rebuilding.

most of the deaths were where i was in missouri. About 15 miles east of picher.

most of the people were killed in their cars when the tornado hit hiway 43

There were again severe tornados in the middle of the country. If I heard correctly, there was a massive F5 in Iowa that destroyed essentially an entire town.

Scary weather recently!

A tornado has been spotted in the Chicago south suburbs. Too bad it's just out of range for me to see/go to. Hopefully everyone is ok...
