This is clearly not a MacBook... or is it? If not, what is the point of that? Surely it's easier to google a picture of a MacBook than to Photoshop an Apple logo onto a PC.

Maybe they photoshopped a white Macbook? Though let's be honest, it looks more like a Fujitsu with that high-gloss lid.

I think the thickness is really out of hand though. Definitely not a MacBook.

Edit: Well, actually it turns out it is a MacBook, but whoever modified the image changed the pixel aspect ratio in the process, thus making it look thicker.

It also has some sort of reflective skin on it.

Looks like a monochrome reversal to me. Or, it's a fake MacBook.

I accidentally mention that any ad like the one above is pretty clearly a scam. Is that bad? :)

I used to see this all of the time, other products included GREEN MacBook Airs, to qualify for these free products you actually have to sign up for other products and the cheapest usually adds upto well over the price of the mac itself.
You probably already know that pre-unibody Apple did do a black MacBook, but it is too shiny, Photoshop etc.

I think it isn't a Macbook but a fake advertisement. The product is glossy and Mac's are definitely known for a uni-body type of laptop and it doesn't possess any characteristics of Macbook at all. Those who got this one, I bet you should have just invested for a starter home.

Older MacBooks are indeed glossy black plastic.

Yeah... prior to 2006, when they were renamed MacBooks.
