Reincarnating Macs

I used to have a classic G3 iBook but the case became somewhat destroyed, so my wife gutted it and installed all the internal components into a deep frame and hung it up on the wall, unfortunately the wire broke a few months ago and the mac finally gave up the ghost.

Just wondering if anyone else has salvaged a mac and given it a new lease of life?
