Editing software?

Hi there, I'm looking for a good editing software for a decent price,and I figured that you guys were the best to ask fo opinions, so what's the best one?

And what do you mean by editing software? Almost all software edits something.

Are you asking for iOS or Mac OS software? Posting your questions in a more specific folder than "Off-Topic Lounge" will help us better identify the nature of your request.

iMovie for less expensive. But I use Final Cut Pro for more detail editing.

Don't forget Final Cut Express comes in at only $199 and is a great middle ground between iMovie and Final Cut Pro.

Roxio or Sony Vegas is good for the PC, I hear.
