Well tomorrow is Shrove Tuesday - Pancake Day if you prefer.

I'll be wolfing a few tons down - Any fave fillings?

Unfortunately a low-carb diet prevents me from enjoying such things!

Well, looks like it'll be the traditional lemon and sugar dressed version here - But we have either a steak or chicken pie for main course.

They're small pies.

As a Chicagoan I'm much more familiar with the Polish version Pączki Day!

I've just Googled that up.

It says; 'Pączki - Fried dough food'

I quite like a doughnut or two as it happens.


Although I usually get covered in sugar and jam.
