HTML TagWriter is a HTML editor with all the standard features, plus
some special tools.
The interface features floating palettes which allow easy inserting of
most HTML 4.0 tags. Tags can be edited fast and easily with the
contextual pop-up menus: by ctrl-clicking any tag, you can choose the
desired attributes. There is also full support for Cascading Style
Sheets, with an easy-to-use Style Editor.
Some of the other features are: automatic character set and linefeed
conversion between Mac, Windows and UNIX formats, multiple file search &
replace, text importer & converter, clickmap maker, local image &
link-checker (single file and exhaustive), dynamic embedded files,
tables-of-contents and multi-column tables, and much, much more.

Lemon lets you create patterns that can be repeated without any visible
boarders, perfect for desktop patterns or backgrounds on web-pages. This is
done by wrapping a larger image , fading the overlap.
New in version 1.1 is a mutable fractal window with 16 levels of undo in
which many interesting fractal shapes can be explored and mutated.
Lemon opens most common graphic formats and saves PICT files.

Miles Manager allows you to do 4 things:
1. Track all your activities that earn you frequent flyer points with
Qantas. These include flights, car hire, credit card points, telecard calls,
hotel points, currency exchange etc. You can then verify that all points
have been awarded when you receive your statement from Qantas.
2. Determine the possible destinations available with your current points
balance. Miles Manager lets you select your starting city, preferred class
and number of available points and returns a list of available cities that
you can fly if you redeem your points.
3. Determine the number of days of hotel awards that you can redeem with
your current point balance.
4. Determine the number of car rental awards that you can redeem with your
current point balance.
Modules for other airlines, such as British Airways and United Airlines, are
being planned.

Subject: Flaky iBook Ethernet Port
We have a 300MHz iBook with an ethernet port that seems to have a bad
connection. If you stick an RJ-45 plug in there and wiggle it, the
connection can be intermittently made. But if you let go, the connection is
lost. Unfortunately it was an Apple refurb with 90 warranty so I'm wondering
if anybody can offer some advice as to what the probem might be and what
we're in for to get it fixed?

Subject: hard drive in G3
I'd like to upgrade the storage on my BW G3 by adding another hard
drive. While the documentation that came with the machine is rather
cryptic, it sounds like I can't add another IDE drive to the 6 gig
drive I already have. Is this true? What would I have to do to add
one. I have a scsi card installed but the scsi drives are so much
more expensive I would like to avoid that. I'll just be using it to
store mp3s for my Itunes jukebox; no great transfer rates are needed.

Hey this might be a stupid question, but how do you record CDs and DVDs
with the Superdrive on a new G4? I am familiar with Toast from my
previous Mac adventures, but I haven't been able to find a similar
recording software program under MAC OS X? If there is not one for OS X
will Toast under Classic work?
