This is the Japanese version of the XBubbles package.
XBubbles is a game of logic. The task is easy but the way is tricky. Every turn
five balls of eight different kinds appear on the game field at random. Each turn
you can move one ball to any free position with one exception - a ball can't jump
over another one. Your task is to assemble five or more similar balls in a line in
any direction. When you put last ball in line all balls in that line will disappear
and you get free turn. Your score is calculated by a complex rule, according to
the number of turn's you took, number of extra balls and so on.
XBubbles is the next generation of Bubbles which was written for classic Mac OS
few years ago. XBubbles is completely redesigned and implemented in Cocoa on
Mac OS X.
System Requirement
Mac OS X 10.1 or later is recommended. However XBubbles should run fine on
earlier versions of Mac OS X.

I have a couple of suggestions you could try.
1) Try connecting the scanner directly to the computer rather than
the hub. This often helps with scanners.
2) A work around. Using the Epson scanner software scan your document
in Black and White (important) at 200 to 300 dpi. Save it in TIFF
format to a file. In Omnipage you can then import the file instead of
scanning directly. After converting the file I would trash it because
they can be quite big, especially if you're scanning a full A4 page.
Its a few extra mouse clicks but should work.

Ken,
I cannot answer the question about the memory - I assume you have
done all the system "grooming" that might address this issue also:
1) Rebuild the Desktop using TechTool (http://www.micromat.com), this
is a free tool that actually deletes the desktop and rebuilds it from
scratch, much better than just holding down command-option.
2) DiskWarrior to optimize the directory structure
3) Norton, Techtool Pro, etc. to examine and repair disk media, file
structures, etc.
System freezes can be caused by any and all of the problems addressed
by these applications. I personally use all of them at various times.
Techtool should probably be done monthly - hope this is of some help.

To read the CD on a Windows machine, you have to do a single burn;
Windows software does not know about sessions. I think this is
discussed in the Toast manual, but I'm not positive.

Subject: Big 9.1 and OS-X install problem
I've been trying to install both OS 9.1 and OS-X on my son's iMac (rev b/233
mhz) and both are a no-go. It runs well on OS 9.0.4 but when I try to
install 9.1 it refuses to reboot off the hard drive. It used to just flash a
"?" until a CD was installed, and then it would automatically start off the
CD. Now it flashes the ? then shows the following message:
Apple iMac open firmware 3.0.f2 built in.....(etc)

If I pull the drive out and install it into my G4 it boots perfectly. I'm
thinking its a firmware upgrade problem with the iMac. but none are listed.
When installing OS-X 10.0
it goes through to the point where you choose a hard drive to install to,
but the drive is locked out. thus I have to quit and restart. I tried
installing OS-X with both 9.0.4 and 9.1. I had the same results both times.
The iMac has 192 megs of ram.
The drive is a Maxtor Diamond plus 40 gig formatted by Apple's Drive setup
as an HFS+.
