There was a question on the net about transferring files from Microsoft
BASIC and MacWrite. Version 1.01 of Microsoft BASIC for the Mac permits
files to be transferred. BASIC files must be saved in ASCII and MacWrite
files saved in text format. Updates are available to owners of version
1.00. Contact Microsoft Customer Service for details. Version 1.01 also
has some other minor enhancements including a terminal program written in
BASIC, faster square root function, and a change to the printer interface
to adjust to Apple's change.
