Hello,
I'm not only new here, I'm new to using a forum.
I'm wondering if there's anyone who had a Mac in 1993 and could get it to play sound bites like James Brown's "I Got You ( I Feel Good)" at start-up? I had a Mac LC 520 and along with JB's I was able to get one from Eddie Murphy, "Read My Lips Monkey Boy" that gave me no end of enjoyment. How/where did I get these from? It's been an itch I can't scratch for decades. Thanks

Does this happen at system startup? Or are you saying this custom sound has replaced the Mac's hardware startup chime?
I vaguely recall some system extension that would play a sound as system extensions were loaded.

I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
