Nice, Charles. I recall how lucky I felt that I could snag a G4 Titanium a year-on from the final release... getting the gigaHz version for the price of an 887 Hz model... and loving that I could still run System 9. And I STILL love that I can use it to run System 9. It's great to hear a snappy rendition of how the line evolved.
p.s. I had a Pizmo but it unfortunately shorted and caught fire when the Apple dealer supplied me with a defective new power supply. My Titanium was a purchase with the replacement insurance..
