Why the Mouse Mess Mac? in "Apple Macintosh Plus M/ID M5880

Hey everyone Jim here, ( or you can call me "Hot Sauce", thats what my friends are yelling as they run down the middle of the street after eating my hot sauce!) Jbytes is fine with me too.. Well, first off a question,,,,, Does the 1984: Apple Mouse IIc (Model M0100) come w/a DB-8 connector or a DB-9? According to specs from (http://lowendmac.com/specs/macintosh-plus.html), it's a DB-9 yet, the.. Macintosh Plus MacPlus No SE Classic or 128K Manufactured in: Singapore
Year of production: 1989
Week of production: 36 (september)
Production number: 4H7 => 5209
Modell ID: M5880 => Macintosh Plus (specs courtesy of http://www.myoldmac.net) is a 8 pin DB connector. Am I missing a pin? There sure is an empty hole for one. Also, this complete desktop package is sealed in factory packaging secured in styrofoam, and packed in the original "red apple" box... Is this desktop worthless to a collector now without the 9-pin connection ? Or factory reject got through the inspection process made a bee-line for the door! Here's some Images to back me up
Hope the pics help you,,,, help me. This incredible find only happens once in a lifetime, so I'm ready to hear from anybody who likes the old and Loves the new-old.

thank you for reading, Jbytes says " stay beautiful"

Well, 60 some views and no replies. That tells me know has a clue what I really got here or have better things to waste there time on. At least I found out this model was the first to come out with the 8 pin MINI-DIN.

I would say you hit the nail on the head lol. You'll probably have better luck with vintage stuff here: http://lowendmac.com/lists/vintagemacs.shtml
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
