Network problem server/client

Hi,
i've got a problem on network.
running 3 mac mini lion, open server in one and client in other 2.
client doesn't find the server.
tested with hub intelligent ( professional solution ) with automatic ip address - no way - but i can ping every machine.
tested with a belkin router with dhcp address - no way - i can ping every machine.
it works with wifi. but we got a lost-frames so they aren't syncing anymore.
what could be? bug maybe?
