Android Client

Post by pbel » August 22nd, 2013, 3:43 pm

Hi

With the new Android TV Sticks it would be pretty cool to have a Android client to build a really low cost video wall.

Any plans for this?

Regards

Never say never, but expect an iOS version before an Android version.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

Hi. That would have been my favorite solution too. Apple TV as a client would be very nice if Apple at end allowed apps on the apple tv. iPod touch as alternative? hm. more then double the price and and a conversion cable to be installed....

That is why I ended up with the Android idea. Some of the Android sticks allow Ubuntu to be installed. But if this helps? I don't know. No experience with linux and video.

The barrier right now is that ArraySync relies on QuickTime. So that limits you to Windows and Macintosh, and potentially iOS in the future.
