Hi there,
I am working on a simple video installation using:
- Two (2) Mini-mac running quicktime mp4 videos
- Through a modem with Ethernet cables using Array Sync
- And going out in to two projectors via hdmi
The final output of the videos is very choppy and broken up.
Can you please recommend what could be a solution?
What is the best video format while using Array Sync?
Please help!
Thank you so much,
-N

Re: How to Correct Choppy or Broken Up Playback
What you are experiencing is most likely a codec issue. ArraySync’s precise frame-accurate synchronization won’t work with a high-compression distribution codec such as H.264. Instead you’ll want to use a production codec, which will result in larger files but much smoother playback and sync. Most people have the best results using MJPEG as your codec. Give that a shot!
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
