Windows 7 64 bit bootcamp causing issues?

Hey guys,

I have a new mid/late 2010 mbp and I recently installed on a 95 GB partition, windows 7 64 bit over thanksgiving. Things seemed fine initially, but lately (the last 3 days) i'v'e been noticing my macbook pro getting a little sluggish and that kind of quiet, i guess, "clicking" sound that the processor makes when it's doing something can be heard at really odd times. Also, I just booted back into os x from windows 7 and suddenly my brightness and volume buttons on the keyboard didn't work. I had to do a hard shutdown and boot back up for them to respond.

I've tried repairing disk permissions, i've tried running the sudo command in terminal and i've looked at my activity monitor, but nothing seems out of place.

I had windows 7 32 bit installed before this and noticed no such issues, so i was wondering if anyone knew if this was a cause of the 64 bit version of windows 7, my copy of windows 7, or what? Should i clear the partition? and see if that make's a difference or is there something else wrong that i'm not thinking about?

Thanks guys

If you're still with us, processors don't make any sound at all; spinning hard disks do. It might be nothing more than clicks from large amounts of memory page swapping, but you might want to clone your disk drive while you still can, just in case.
