i just liberated a mac cube and installed 10.4. I currently have 512 meg of ram and looking to upgrade to at least 896. What would be a recommendation for video card? and what about a cpu upgrade?

There are some sellers on eBay who sell cards and other upgrades specifically for the cubes.

As for memory, I always recommend OWC http://www.macsales.com

Not many CPU upgrades for the cube. Try http://www.sonnettech.com. They have a couple. As posted earlier for memory, Other World Computing carries Sonnet and Powerlogix upgrades.

If you wanna go fast, you'll need some deep pockets.

Here's a good thread @ the cubeowner.com forums that lists possible cube video card upgrades, as well as known limitations or dysfuctions.

Looks like it may be a little outdated, but it should be a good resource nonetheless.
