QuickTime Pro and Multiple Processors

Post by Turboladdade » January 7th, 2008, 3:53 pm

Does QuickTime Pro make use of multiple processors when exporting video to other formats and sizes? I'm using it to export a really big video right now but it doesn't look like it is making full use of all the cores in my Mac Pro Quad Xeon.

Is this normal operation?

It seems to be using both processors, on my CD Mac Mini, so I don't know what is up with yours.
