Mac CAD software

Does anyone know of a simple CAD program that will run on OS10.5? I have tried many but find them too complicated for my needs with a large learning curve. I used Claris CAD for some 15 years but as 10.5 no longer supports Classic I am now stuck!

Any thoughts?

Well, here is a good list of currently available CAD-related Mac OS X Intel native programs, covering a pretty wide range from beginner to expert, and various different specialties for each.

• Pro/CONCEPT

• TurboCAD Mac Pro

Of course, any program you switch to is going to be different than Claris and have some sort of learning curve, especially given that Claris CAD is over 15 years old, and plenty of new technologies and methods of CAD have been accepted since then. I doubt that any of them will be able to open Claris files, if that is important to you.

Out of curiosity have you taken a look at Google SketchUp?
