I was recently given a Palm Tungsten E but cannot figure out how to connect it to Leopard or sync anything or put files on it. I pretty much don't know what I'm doing. I downloaded Palm Desktop 4.x (whatever the latest version is) and can't figure that out either.
Basically what I want to be able to do is install software that I've downloaded from some Palm web site, and maybe read my calendars on my Mac Pro.

I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
Re: Syncing a Palm Tungsten E
I have never personally tried this, but I've heard that a program called missing synch works good usually for synching PDAs.

Re: Syncing a Palm Tungsten E
Actually, I eventually figured out how to get it working. It's quite user un-friendly and PowerPC only, sadly, but it worked. I don't recall exactly what my problem was, or how I solved it, but at least I can verify that Palm Desktop 4 works under Leopard on an Intel, which is important given it hasn't been updated in ages.
