Mac mini processor replacement

ok im trying to figure out exactly what my options are for replacing the processor in a mac mini core duo (not core "2" duo) - i've seen different references on different sites but i was hoping somebody could tell me exactly what to look for

if anyone has done it before it would also be nice to hear some experiences about how hard it is or isnt
