Keynote to Quicktime for PSs

Post by Francjue » September 2nd, 2008, 2:55 pm

I have a Keynote presentation with imbedded Quicktime movies. I have exported to Quicktime which works fine on Macs. However, the imbedded movies will not play or are herky jerky when played on a PC. What is the problem?

My first guess would be your PC. Your exported QuickTime movie is a stand-alone file and requires no other dependancies or anything like that. Try updating your PC's version of QuickTime, or try a different PC.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

We have tried five PCs all with the latest version of QT and still have challenges.

How big is the video? If it's 50 MB or less, you can post it here so we can have a look.

Hmm... well, in that case, if you have QuickTime Pro or another way to edit it (perhaps using iMovie?) cut down to a section of the video that doesn't play right, and try posting that.
