FireWire 800 Hub

Hello to everybody,

I just wanted to tell you that I finally found a hub
for my five FireWire 800 external drives.

I'm french, and it was very difficult to find.
It doesn't seem to be the case in United States (for example).

The product is Swiss (very expensive), called Exsys EX-6684 (Hub Firewire IEEE 1394b), but I found it in Germany for 150 €,
at Integrate Computer.
It has 8 ports, that means 7 free, because the n°8 is dedicated
to the cable which comes from the MAC.

I hope somebody could be interested, and don't believe
there's no use to have a FireWire hub (Some told me you have only
to do what everyone knows, plugging the first to Mac, then the second to the first, and so on).

But what do you do, and what happens when you want (for any reason) to unmount and SWITCH OFF n°3, for example ? I let you guess …
