MacBook air
Is the MacBook air worth the money or would a MacBook pro be a better choice and how durable is it. It seems kinda flimsy

Why don't you go and use/handle one and see if you feel the same.bmiles39 wrote:Is the MacBook air worth the money or would a MacBook pro be a better choice and how durable is it. It seems kinda flimsy
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
Re: MacBook air
I own a MacBook Pro 17" and I just got the new MacBook Air 11" for my father and I have to say it's worth every penny. The only thing I wish it had would be the retina display technology Apple used on the iPhone 4. I know it's too much to ask but there NOTHING else missing for that size laptop. It's blazing fast and the typing experience is most excellent. It can be addictive though. It's so light and thin. My father feels this was one of the best present he's ever had. I personally highly recommend going to the Apple store and play with one.

Def worth the money. Go play with one.. You need to realize it for yourself.
Re: MacBook air
I have read various reviews from around the net from engadget to gizmodo as I am trying to decide myself. They all come to the same conclusion, the 11" air is beyond slow but the 13" air is great for a 2nd laptop or your main laptop if you are not doing anything to intensive. From having used it in the apple store it's very sturdy and well made. If you travel with the computer often I would go with the 13" air. It's so light and stylish in hand. I would stay clear of the 11" version.
