lost work on pages

When I clicked to print yesterday, pages "unexpectedly" closed. Several hours of work were lost. Is there a way to find that work? MS has a feature that when the doc of the same name is reopened it asks which one you want and the one you thought you might have lost is still there. I'm hoping that somewhere I can find it -- hoping, hoping!
