Mac Mini System Software Upgrade

I have a Mac Mini with 2GHz IntelCore 2 Duo memory, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, running system 10.5.8. I would like to know the latest system software that I can use and where I can purchase it.

There's two different 2GHz Core 2 Duo Mac Minis - one can run the current operating system 10.8 (Mountain Lion), the other is limited to the previous operating system, 10.7 (Lion). What's important is the model identifier which you can find in Apple - About This Mac - More Info... Macmini2,1 does not support Mountain Lion, Macmini3,1 does.
