mac cube duel 500 conversion

We I started this conversion several years ago and now i am back at it. I tore down the cube and pulled the processor board. I got a dual 500 sawtooth processor and have worked to relocate the coil. no small task to relocate and have everything clear. This step is completed and i added the 80mm fan now it is time for the heat sink modification. cut the 2 spacers and will try reassembly tonight.
I hope this works! Has anyone else doen this mod besides the guys on the owc board

I cut and lapped a 1 light band surface on both sides of the adapter plates and installed the dual processor. It fired up and is working great what a difference it makes. this was fun. What is the most powerful graphics card i can install. looks like i put a radeon 9200 red card in some time back is that the best i can do?
Where is wove when i need him.

The Nvidia GForce MX3 was considered the fastest stock card that shipped with the Cube. The Cube has a AGP 2x slot, so it should take any stock 2X and 4X AGP card without modification to the slot or the card pins. Cubeowner dot com was the definitive source for all information concerning the Cube and its modifications. I think the site is still up, but I have no idea how active it might be.
