My itunes wont open and I don't know what to do!

Someone please help, I've been trying to open itunes for the past hour and I've read things online to try and help me, but nothing I have tried has worked, every time I open it it flashes up on the dock then disappears straight away, it doesn't even bounce on the dock, i tried looking in the console and all it says is 'Exited with exit code: 1' anyone know how to fix this?
