iCloud and My Docs

Post by Altoon » July 7th, 2017, 5:06 am

Macbook Pro, OS 10.11.6. When I click system prefs < iCloud < iCloud Drive < options, there is no Desktop & Documents folder option or check box. How do I get it to display as an option? The other expected options do display.

This was a feature introduced with macOS 10.12 Sierra. If your MacBook is compatible, upgrade it for free from the Mac App Store.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

Thanks, didn't appreciate it was only available in Sierra. Laptop is only two years old so upgrade is viable.

If it's not something you need this instant, it might be worth holding off on as the High Sierra update will be available in the fall sometime.
