Is there a mail app for the iPhone that has the same look as outlook when you open your email folder?

You mean, the same look as Outlook on a PC? I haven't actually seen any third party email clients for iPhone, but I doubt that there would ever be on that mimics an email client on a desktop operating system, simply because an iPhone has much less space to work with and also interacts with a user differently.

Which aspects, specifically, would you like to see in your ideal iPhone email app?

I have seen one on an iPhone that loos like outlook. It had the list of mailboxes down the side and the preview of mail in tbd main window like outlook. It's the look I'm after not the operation.

Have you looked into ibisMail? They bill themselves the "first full-fledged email app for iPhone."

I was doing some googling about this and came across this interesting observation from Ryan Block's blog:
So I was looking over my Macworld 2007 keynote coverage the other day and noticed something just about everyone — myself included — glossed over as the months passed between its January introduction and June launch: the iPhone once had a two-pane email client.
He includes this screenshot of the Macworld 2007 demonstration of the iPhone:

Most unfortunate!

I never use that even though my web mail has that feature. I think that it takes up too much screen space.

So you use webmail on your iPhone? Or the regular Mail application?

I use Roundcube on my site. I don't have an iPhone.

Ah, that explains that. I would find it curious if anyone knowingly preferred using webmail over the Mail application.

Well, I don't have that option. I'm always on different computers, so I need webmail.

I think he meant, using webmail over iPhone's built-in mail application. I think most people would agree webmail sites tend to be clumsy and difficult to use on iPhone Safari.

Of course, if you're constantly moving between different desktop computers, webmail makes sense. But... this is the iPhone discussion folder after all! :D

Would you please say a few wards about iPhone's push email. Does it work just like SMS? You get email instantly and do not have to wait.

You get email instantly. It is different from the regular "check for mail every 15 minutes" option in that you don't necessarily get those instantly.

Push email on iPhone is provided by network company like AT&T or by iPhone.

Your email provider must support push email. It is neither a service of AT&T nor strictly a client-side feature of iPhone.
