I'm interested in buying a smaller set of speakers for a bit of shelf space I have on a bookshelf. Out of the many many choices, what is the community's consensus on the best sounding? Recommendations? Disrecommendationw?

I like the Tivolli radio with stereo input. It has a nice sound to it.

I use my Dell computer speakers which my son no longer uses (he uses headphone to talk to his friends while playing games). The left and right speakers are quite small. Only the woofer is a little big. The sound is very good.
