Need an app for database input

Is there an app that will read info from barcode, and allow me to port that info to a document?
Working with comic book collected over the years.

Have you looked into
RedLaser? I'm not really sure about the "porting into a document" part of your question, but that scans barcodes from your iPhone. You might want to ask the developer before buying it, it costs $1.99.

I have it. Great app, but built as a shopping aid. I'm looking for more of an input tool that captures the info, and let's me export it to a doc, spreadsheet, or database (Bento). Thanks, though.

I would imagine it's just a matter of time before other apps (such as Delicious Library and Bento) incorporate this into their programs now that RedLaser has done it.
