Best bet, since nobody seems to have any recommendations, is probably to go to the Apple Store and try them yourself. See which one has the best weight and build quality and go from there.

Here's my suggestion: Bluetooth.

There's really no need to be manipulating an iPhone while biking. Seems to me that could be quite dangerous, like trying to text in a car. Not to mention that such a mount would make your bike an obvious target for thieves.

Invest the money in a nice set of bluetooth headphones that will allow you to skip tunes and answer calls. That way the iPhone can stay secure in your backpack, jacket, whatever.

Well its for mainly gps purposes.
