iPod calendar keeps crashing. Does not open
Any suggestions? I use the iPod for a PDA. Not having a calendar makes the thing useless.

Did this start for any particular reason? Like a recent sync? Update to iOS 4?
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

been having sync problems since the update to OS4, but this is new today (and a total bummer). Have had many go-rounds with Mobile Me tech support. They keep sending me e-mails asking for more information, which I answer in excruciating detail, but they never have any suggestions. Grrrr!
Is it even possible to delete the calendar app and reload it?
Or, will I have to set the i Pod back to "factory" settings?
Can I UN-install OS 4? the only worthwhile thing about OS 4 to me is the folders, other than that, it has hosed my iPod. Threaded e-mail is ok, but I'd rather have the speed back.

You might try the factory restore, if you haven't already. iTunes can backup your data individually, and then you do the restore, and then data is copied back. You're just an unlucky one to get a problem like this, sad to say. The vast majority have not, and there is no widespread iCal problem that I know of.
No, and I wouldn't really recommend that even if you could.coolbana wrote:Can I UN-install OS 4?
