I made a group for my contacts (in Address Book on my Mac) just to try it out. I synced it to my iPhone, it worked, so I made a group that I really wanted to use and deleted the trial group I had made in Address Books.
Unfortunately, the trial group is still on my iPhone, and I can't get rid of it! Yes, I did try syncing with iTunes, and checked the "Sync Address Book Contacts" box. I also tried a few variations of checking selected groups.
Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks!

Re: Contact Groups issue
If you deleted it from your Mac and then re-synced, iTunes may have found it on your iPhone and recreated it on your Mac. Double check.
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

Just checked-it's not on my Mac. Only on my iPhone...

Re: Contact Groups issue
Check your sync settings on your mac within iTunes for the option to delete from your iPhone. If it's blocked it won't delete. I think the default is that it can. It canchange sometime with new updates on iTunes as well when they update. Not to mention there are a few bugs.
