Hi folks, I'm from Singapore. I would like to find out if anyone after upgrading the iPad to OS 4.2.1, does it includes the 2 apps airplay and airpaint? Mine doesn't ..

Turboladdade: it made my screen lock switch to a mute button that doesn't work, and it's really slow, and I bought an song today and it wasn't in my iTunes orin my recent purchases.

Lucretius: there not apps air print when your set up to an wifi printer activates through your pages app. And air print is basically the same with an apple tv it gives the option...

On the iPad the only app I've seen problems with is Skype. Sometimes it doesn't detect a network connection, WiFi or 3G, other times it does. The orientation switch works as a mute button, but holding down the volume down button does the same thing. Other than that I've yet to see any problems.

After I installed on my 3GS all of my media vanished. Annoying but I just reloaded it from iTunes. Otherwise, no problems yet.

What doesn't? The mute switch? Was that normal operation before?

Prior to the upgrade, the switch used to control the Orientation. Now, it mutes the iPad. The Orientation is now controlled by double clicking the home button like the iPhone and choosing to lock or unlock.

There is a problem I syncing iCal via Mobile Me. If you installed the interim beta e-mail solution:
1. Backup your calendar,
2. Completely delete the interim beta e-mail account from your iPad, and
3. Resync via Mobile Me.
NOTE: Ignore this if you sync your calendar via iTunes!,,

The day after I updated I went to do a slideshow in the photo album and all my music was gone.

I did a sync and it came back, but I was a little shocked that it had changed my music sync options in iTunes.

Gushin, I had the same problem with my iPhone 3GS. The thing is that I believe that's an intermittent bug in iTunes since it has happened to me a total of three times since 2007, spanning two different phones and two different computers. When I updated to 4.2.1 I had no problems with my iPad but my iPhone "lost touch" with the internal media library. The files were still there but the iPod app just didn't see them. I just reset my settings and let it sync again. I've reported this to Apple but since it isn't a reproducible problem there isn't much they can do about it.
