Locking Find My iPad

Is there a way to lock Find My iPhone so that it can't be turned off without a password? If I lose my iPad and someone cracks my passcode, their first move would be tobturn it off.

The solution would be to use a strong passcode, no?
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.
