My daughter forgot the password she put on her new ipod touch 5 th generation.
Is a way that I can reset the password??

Not without wiping all files and settings. Are they backed up to her computer?
I am now telling the computer exactly what it can do.

Losing data is not an issue. There is nothing on the ipod. It is new.

Then just restore your iPod. (plug the USB cable into a computer then plug your iPod onto that and click the restore setting, of there is nothing on the iPod there would be no need to backup, and yeah that should work.)
