When will there be a jailbrake for the iPhone 4 s 6.1. Going insane with out my jailbreak ready to go back to the iPhone 4

I also have a 4s and really enjoy it. What is the benefit of jailbraking besides more 'unapproved' software? I am wanting a signal strength meter for iOS but I guess it is only available after jailbraking .
