Software for tracking expenses or float expenditure, great for tracking

In "Miscellaneous" settings, turn on "Read from Internet Control Panel"

Hold down the option key when you click on a URL. When it asks you
which application to use, choose the browser you want.
It works also with comman+option.

It works also for others protocols (ftp or news).

Spoke to our ISP today and he told me that some virus is around which
tries to do bad things to NT-based servers.

It first tries to enable the "guest" account, then gives that guest
account administrator privileges and then the back door is wide open.

But I think none of the Mac-based applications implement anything
near to an NT server, so you'll be fine.

Best guess is to look on older magazine CDs for Eudora (I have a
"collection" of those which came with the German "MacMagazin" before
it was taken over by MacUp Verlag). However, I cannot look before the
week-end.

But does it need to be Eudora? I had the same "problem" with a
Powerbook 150 on which I needed to install a mail application. I did
a "search" (on versiontracker, I think), and found Musashi being
cheap and quite usable. Allows you to use more than one mail address
(like Eudora Pro), and doesn't cost a fortune. Works great on that
old Powerbook. So unless you have specific reasons why only Eudora
should be used there, I recommend Musashi.

Subject: HUGE Mac OS 10.0.4 icons

I'm sure there are many of you who sometimes let their kids play
with the PowerBook that you bring home from the office, and are
familiar with some of the weird preferences that you can be faced
with when you get it back. Under 9.2.1 I was always capable of
setting things right again, but now I am stumped... It seems that my
son played some games in the classic mode that changed the monitor
resolution, and a weird thing happened, the resolution changed back
to 1024 x 768 but all of the icons on the OS X desktop remain *huge*,
so big that you can only fit about 10 icons in the whole desktop. I
have tried Monitor settings, Global icon size settings (under the
"Views" preferences) and everything else I could think of. Restarts
(from 9.2.1 or 10.0.4) do not correct the problem, and any new
folders are created with huge icons. Can one "rebuild the desktop"
in 10.0.4, or is there a "preference file" that can be discarded? Do
you think this situation will correct itself when I load 10.1? Any
thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
